Paradise

Our family built a cabin out in BC and took the opportunity to visit Paradise mine located in the wildlife sanctuary of the Purcells, and a stones throw from the Bugaboo. Paradise was established back in gold rush and mined for it silver. The 13 km jaunt to the summit w eleared of its own railroad, however an unexpected stop was Spring Creek Falls. Inspired by the trip and the mountains quiet beauty, I broke out an old canvas and painted this within a day.
